Makes me want to loose my Christianity

It is painfully evident that the designer of this smoker/grill had a personal vendetta against all humanity.The smoker does not produce hardly any smoke, however, if you are lucky enough to get one of them that is semi working out of the box, then you can lean a chair up against the knob (so it will stay on, because otherwise it shuts off randomly)and it will produce enough heat to warm your family for an entire winter. In fact, you will not be able to get it below 300 degrees even in the lowest position. So, if you like burnt, unsmoked food, and want to add a lot of frustration to your life, or if you want to just test your patience and pain tolerance level, this is the grill for you. Otherwise, if your like me, we can only hope that the one(s) who designed this "work of art" have somehow become sterile before they have had a chance to procreate. This grill doesn't get hot enough to sear a steak. It took me more than 1 hour cook a poin loin. My old Weber would cook a pork loin in twenty minutes. I've waited 48+ hours for a call back from Brinkman customer service.REALLY sorry I bought this EXPENSIVE peice of crap.

No problems at all

I did not experience the problems mentioned by the other reviewers. My smoker burner stays lit.And this is actually the second grill of this model I own. Though, I bought mine at HD and the HD model is slightly different to this one.
