Bad Packaging

The grill is a good deal for the money compared to other ones out there. However, if you order this product from Amazon it will come by carrier and it WILL be damaged in some way. I order three of these and just finally gave up and kept the last damaged one. Amazon gave a discount for the damage and we tryed to fix the dents as best we could so guess we will live with it. It was so much cheaper then buying another brand. Napoleon says it should never be shipped by carrier, instead always by freight and is the reason it gets damaged. Wish we'd kept the first one it was the least damaged, but am happy with the discount Amazon gave for the damage, made it worth keeping. So if you order this and it arrives damaged, call Amazon and see what discount they will give you it may be worth your while.

Bad move and sorry for doubting your review! This grill arrived with a lot of damage. The packaging was terrible with loose parts laying in the box tumbling around and there was very minimal protection around the grill itself. It had several dents, bent pieces and some scratches. Rather than attempt to try and get one without damage as the other writer did, we simply returned it and bought something else. Thank you Amazon for your no hassle return policies!!

For the money, it seems cheaply made. The side trays don't lock in, so they slide out whenever you pick it up. I'm seriously considering returning it and sticking with a Coleman.
