Good, not great

The Alturi grill is good but not great. The basics of BBQ'ing are covered - good cooking surface, good look, good lighting and effective. However, for a grill of this cost, there are some drawbacks: the searing element is limited in its effectiveness and quality. I have to light the searing element with an external lighting tool. The cooking grill has some uneveness of heat creating hot spots and sections of the grill that are not as hot.Overall, I am modestly satisfied but disappointed.
