2Grill Looks Great...and that's about it
By Toolmaster
We used the grill now for 10 month before writing this review. The grill looks great.. and that's about it. The small chamber only heats up to 450 degrees, and it takes almost 20 min. The large chamber heats up way faster to much higher temperatures, as expected. BK customer service did not respond at all to our first request after I contacted them, but the second time they did. They sent 2 new burners and new hose and regulator, which did not solve the problem. Yes, we did switch the temperature gauge, it wasn't the problem either. So customer service was just ok, they were trying to help, but unfortunately the parts the send did not solve the problem. Both burners in the small chamber do work and it also looks like the flame has the same size as compared to the main burner. So we seem to be stuck with a small chamber max temp of 450 degrees and it takes forever to even reach 350-400 degrees. The heat distribution on the large burner is very uneven, my old $199 grill was MUCH better. This is very frustrating. It only works evenly, if you keep everything within 5-7 inches of the center. Also the grill is not all stainless steel, at least not the drawer handles. They do rust, even though the grill is covered most of the time and only 10 month old. Dripping fat gets stuck in the little dips near the elongated cuts in the heat plate and if you don't watch the grill ALL the time, your meat will burn up, due to the fat catching fire. I modified the bars, by cutting them completely into separate pieces, (like WEBER does), so fat can't get stuck anymore and can catch fire. With all the flaws, I should have given one star, but it really is a nice looking grill, so I gave it two stars. We also bought a black cover for the grill, which we use to cover the grill when not in use. The cover is very nice material, but it wont even cover the whole grill. It should have been at least 3 inches higher. The cover also faded way too much over a period of just 9 month, in some areas its light grey now, the cover is normally black.Hope this helps other potential buyers.

5Best Grill I Have Ever Owned
By Russell K. Housman
OK let me start out by saying I have had many BBQ Grills over the years from $150 to $1000 units and this grill beats them all hands down. I brought this grill after doing a good deal of research and after my wife "accidentally" burned my old one but that's another story. So as I was saying I did lots of research and the Broil King came out ahead of all the others, from it's Dual Chamber Stainless Steel Burners, grills and other amenities. Also the two cooking zones make smoking ribs on one side and grilling fish on the other a real pleasure. If you are in the market for a new grill give Broil King and good hard look.

5WHAT AN AMAZING GRILL
By Paul
I've never written a review on a product before but this grill hands down deserves it. We've had this unit for 1.5 seasons and purchased it due to our large family, frequent gatherings and my wife's desire for commercial grade cooking quality. She is an experienced restaurant chef and didn't want another cheap grill that couldn't provide even heat distribution or the range of temperatures she is accustomed to in her commercial kitchen. Does this grill ever deliver! Even heat distribution, excellent and consistent temperature control, broad range of effective cooking temperatures. Cooks everything flawlessly and consistently, if there's a problem with the food it's definitely the chef not the grill! And highly durable. The base is well constructed and reinforced, this is a sturdy unit designed for long-term use and satisfaction. We've used this grill in temperatures from well below freezing to the hottest days in summer and it's performed every time.I recommend this to anyone looking for a superior quality grill that doesn't want to pay the $3k + needed for a true commercial unit.
