5fabulous grill
By t
This is my second fiesta grill and I just got rid of the one I had before, it was 17 years old. It was still working, I was just embarrased to have it on the deck as I did not cover it in winter so it looked a little ugly. I love my second fiesta even more, and i bought a cover this time. It is easy to assemble, heats up quickly and gets very hot, not like some webers I have had. It really is a steal for the price.

4Very nice little grill for the money
By Myname Goeshere
This grill is exactly what I was looking for when our 15 year old small gas grill died. That one was a hand-me-down from the neighbors when they upgraded to a shiny new stainless grill. It was a Kenmore with aluminum housing (base and lid). It was virtually indestructible but after two burner replacements and burning through a ceramic coated grill, it was time to get a new one. The thing is I liked the small size and the fact that I could be up and grilling in minutes. For a quick lunch of burgers and hot dogs for the five of us, you can't beat this setup. We have massive big grill too, but that rarely gets used unless we have a crowd over. This grill is an almost perfect replacement of the old one.Assembly was easy (if one follows the directions) and actually fun for the kids since they got to help put it all together. We ran into one small issue when one of the threaded studs snapped off the logo casting. This logo is cast from some kind of cheap pot metal like the old toy cars used to be (I guess it's some kind of zinc alloy) and the stud just snapped off even though I was careful not to torque the nut too much. As it turns out one screw is enough to hold it on but I wonder how long that will last. Overall not a big deal, just a small annoyance.I put ceramic briquettes over/around the burner cover. This is another advantage of the aluminum cast base. It is made really deep so that there is room for the briquettes under the grill. Other cheap grills I've looked at do not have enough room. Plus the base and lid on those are usually made out of stamped steel and rust away in a couple of seasons. This one should be around for a long time. The controls are simple and so far work just fine. The piezoelectric ignition also functions well. One gripe I have about the lid design is that they put some pretty big vent holes in the rear for some reason. I would prefer the grill lid without those holes. There are generous enough gaps around for venting and the idea about grilling is to keep the heat in, not let it out. I covered up those holes because I'd hate to use up my propane bottle to heat the universe at large. I just want to heat the inside of the grill. The other minor point is that the old one had a thermometer. Even for an inexpensive unit like this it would be nice to have a built in thermometer in the lid. Not really a strike against the grill because the picture clearly shows there is no gauge on the lid and it's not listed as a feature, so I knew what I was getting, it's just a "would be nice" item. Then again, I haven't really missed the thermometer since I started using this grill. I just go by feel and experience with the control settings.Overall I'm glad to have purchased this grill and already cooked some killer burgers on it. :-)TLDR:Pros: - Great value for the money- Small but capable grill- Aluminum base and lid will last a long time- Has space for ceramic briquettesCons:- Cast logo is flimsy and may break during install- Lid has large vent holes in the back for some reason (cover them up and it's good to go)

Built well. The cast aluminum housing is great. Just the right size for 2 to 3 people. Easy to assemble.
