4Great grill if you want natural gas
By Michael Hostetler
I bought this a few months ago, but I wanted to give it some use before writing a review of it. I especially wanted to use the rotisserie at least once before putting one up.Putting this grill together was a bit of an interesting feat. The directions seem good, but you have to look at the pictures closely or you may be putting the part on the wrong direction -- I'm talking specifically about the sidewalls on the base. I had to take things apart when I discovered I had them on wrong. Also, I had some damaged parts when I opened the package, but a call to Broil King fixed that. They shipped it right away. All that said, I would recommend having a friend over to help you put it together, especially in lifting the grill onto the base. So, for actual cooking . . . it's wonderful. The grates are stainless steel and very sturdy and quite heavy. It comes with three grates and I bet that each grate weighs at least seven pounds. They clean off very well. The temperature control is good and, after grilling at least two dozen times, I have yet to find any cool or hot spots. Everything seems to be heating evenly.I've also found that it takes a little while for the grill to heat up. I usually give it 10 or 15 minutes on high before putting food on (even if I'm just going to do indirect grilling). But, once it warms up, it gets very hot and stays that way. If you aren't careful, it will shoot up to 700 or 800 degrees. I consider this a good thing, but you have been warned. I have cooked steaks, burgers, chicken, veggies, potatoes, or even the odd piece of frozen naan we eat once in a while. Everything has grilled up great.I tried the rotisserie for the first time yesterday. This is my first time with using a rotisserie of any kind, so I think there was a lot of user error. There are more directions in the box with the rotisserie motor that comes with it. Putting on the motor and hooking up the rotisserie is very easy. The rotisserie burner was easy to snap on as well. I thought output from the rotisserie control was too high -- it shouldn't blast heat, even at the highest setting. Putting it just over half gave me the 350 degs I wanted. The operator's manual wasn't too helpful for me concerning the rotisserie's balance weight and, consequently, my rotisserie rod fell off the motor many times. But I was always watching and it put it back on. The chicken was still wonderful when it was done.I'm giving this grill four out of five stars. It's only losing one star because of the unclear directions in the assembly and the rotisserie. I'm only taking off one star because, once it's together, it's great! And I'll probably figure out the rotisserie the more I use it.

5Hot Natural Gas Grill.
By danells
This is an excellent value for the price. It is well made using heavy Stainless steel parts. It took about an hour and 1/2 to put together. It does come with the Quick Connect for your gas line which is a bonus. The grill heats to 700 in little over 10 minutes and the included rotisserie system works extremely well. Everything I was looking for out of a natural gas grill.

1poor packaging, received scratched/dented
By lalameda
I actually can't comment on the quality of the grill because we never got to use it. It's unfortunate, because the grill looks like it would have been fantastic! We received the box looking a tiny bit worn around the edges from the trip, but not structurally damaged. Unfortunately, the packaging inside was done poorly. The powdercoating on the lid was scratched on both sides, the handle was scratched across the writing, and there was a scrape and small dent across the left side table. All cosmetic issues, but for over $600.00, one would assume that more care would be taken in getting the item from point A to B safely. As we had read a review stating that someone else had also had received a slightly damaged part and had no trouble with replacement parts, we felt confident in purchasing the item, and weren't too concerned with just switching out the damaged lid and side table. Our experience has been different. When we contacted Amazon for replacement parts, we were advised that they cannot send replacement parts and we would either have to send back the entire 147lb grill for a full replacement, or contact Broilking. On contacting Broilking they informed us that they would happily provide replacement parts - at a fee - and sent us back to Amazon.Bottom line, as much as we'd just love to simply replace some cosmetic defects and enjoy the grill, we're sending the whole thing back for a full refund. Start to finish, this process will take just under 3 weeks, and at the end of it we will still be without a grill. Given the state of the packaging, I'm just not confident that a replacement grill would arrive in any better shape than the first one. Buyer beware.
