The unit produces an 8,000-BTU output, and in a matter of minutes, it can reach temperatures up to 500 degrees F for searing meat or fillets. It provides three hours of operation using a standard one-pound propane tank (not included). The grill also features an exclusive Cook Number System that makes any novice look like an expert. Simply insert the built-in food probe into the center of meat, turn the Cook Number dial from 1 to 10 (140 to 185 degrees F) using the chart, and close the lid. A beep and flashing lights will indicate once food has grilled to perfection. Even more, the high-efficiency gas grill costs only a fraction of what it costs to use a conventional 30,000- to 60,000-BTU gas grill. Other highlights include 250 square inches of cooking space, durable construction with an attractive black-porcelain finish, and a slide-out grease drawer and disposable aluminum tray for easy cleanup.
