Amazing Grill
By shopper 5521
Wow, where do I start? So i have owned a Weber Q since it came out but when I went to a grill show in Salt Lake I saw this portable grill and I absolutely had to have it, so glad Amazon has it listed finally! I am a proud owner of the Fuego Element grill so I was very excited about this one...First, it is sooooo light (feels like 10 pounds) and so easy to carry around. I have 3 kids so I need all the hands I can use and with this past weekend being nice, we took it out to the park for a quick grill. The weight and handle, and how it is all held together by the hand is truly awesome.Second, it is a great grill!!! I will be bringing this to every Giants game this year. I fit 4 burgers and 2 hot dogs on it at the same time - it all cooked evenly. Only downside - I wish it was available the last 4 tailgating seasons, I would have brought this baby everywhere...Thanks Amazon! Thanks Fuego, another great product!

Not bad, not great.
By Nat Tarbox
I love to grill, but live in a city apartment lacking outdoor space. We have bikes and plenty of parks though, and the design of this grill immediately conjured up visions of summer picnics. In particular, the shoulder strap photo implied some serious mobility for bike-powered cookouts. The Fuego Element came close to making that vision a reality, but ultimately missed the mark. For starters, the shoulder strap shown in the product photos on the packaging is actually optional. On top of that, it wasn't even available to order last I checked. It is small enough to fit in a duffel bag, but the awkward shape makes that an uncomfortable solution: there is a handle protruding on the top, and a circular drip tray on the bottom. Either way, your back won't be pleased. This grill is also much heavier than you'd expect, primarily because of the cast iron grate. This grill is easily portable if you have a car, or want to carry it from the garage to your patio. It is not something you'd want to lug a long distance while under your own power.Cooking was better. The cast iron is great, and once heated up was able to put some nice grill marks on a steak. The grill surface is larger than you'd expect, I was able to keep eight people happily fed. There is an adjustment dial on the gas, but I wasn't able to get a lot of different heat variations. You won't be slow cooking on this, but for standard cookout fair like burgers and kabobs you'll be in good shape. In the end, this grill looks cool but isn't quite portable enough for me. Although more awkwardly shaped, the Weber 40020 Smokey Joe Gold Charcoal Grill that I have is actually more portable. It weighs much less, has roughly the same cooking surface, and charcoal gives you a lot more options on how you want to grill. And most importantly, it costs about a fifth of the Fuego Element.Good:- Easy to setup- Nice design- Quality build- Cast iron grateBad:- Shoulder strap shown in photos isn't included- Heavy, awkwardly shaped- Not a lot of cooking flexibility- Expensive

so cool
By A. Shea
I agree with the reviewer who said it's as if Apple designed this. It is sooo well designed. Works great too. Lots of heat and a really substantial cast iron grill grate. This is replacing my "portable" Weber. Much more portable, compact and lighter. But works every bit as well. Grilling area is just a tad smaller but perfect for just me and my husband. LOVE it!
