By mike55
The "RV" pig tail won't necessarily fit right into your RV setup. Keep your old pig tail until you get this new replacement. The item worked fine but I had to buy a few fittings to transition from the thread type and size to mate this item to my RV system. Having my old pig tail allowed me to walk into my local hardware store and show them what I needed instead of trying to explain. It's not just the size. You have to make sure the threads are the same as your RV.

By Joe Maher
needed shorter hoses but these were the shortest I could find, read info wrong on packaging said it was 1/4 inch end but didn't say type of 1/4 inch, I needed 1/4 NTP instead of inverted flare type, problem solved after getting adapter fittings to convert to flare type, all good now.

I ordered 2 of these and from what I previously had, these are alot better. These are made with rubber hoses, instead of flexible plastic that gets brittle over time.
