Had to assemble it but not too hard. Takes about 1 hour or maybe a little longer. Expensive but the last grill we had was a Ducane, before they sold the company. We had purchased it in 1987 and it died in 2013. That was expensive too. But if this lasts another 25 years I won't . That's $35. a year!
