Easily screws in place with no leakage

I purchased this item because our HOA and the city of Denver have banned the 20lb propane tanks as a fire hazard on balconies. This adapter allows me to keep the gas grill and use the permissible 1 lb propane bottles instead of the 20lb bottle that came with the gas grill. I had previously purchased a similar adapter from the Sam's big box store website but the item arrived with a bent stem and leaked as a result. The Camco item appears better made, screws on very easily and with no leakage while you are attaching the 1 lb bottle. Just make certain to to attach it to the propane hose first according to the directions.

Can't do without it... Get one for a backup!

This is such a neat item, I've bought more of them to give to friends....Below is an prev. review comment which holds true for this item as well:It is a "safety-net" for the backyard griller or for anything that runs off a bulk propane tank.I use it for instances when my big tank, stuck in the inner recessesof my SS gas monster grill, is getting low.I can grill fearlessly off the big bottle and if/when it is empty,twist on this jewel and a little green tank and I'm good to go.I've given one to each of my kids. And to several friends as well.A no-brainer. Get one, you won't regret it.

Returned this product. ONLY the male part is included in this item! bought on basis that male AND female pieces were included. I see that they are using the same picture for this product after I went round with them about what was being shown!!!!!

Better Than Advertised

There are no local Broil King distributers/retailers in my area. I did all my research online. When the grill arrived it was more than I had expected. The three drawers were well built with high quality, full extension glides. There are 3 beefy tool hooks on each end and two more on each of the two condiment trays on the front. It gets HOT. Four burners get the internal temperature up to 600F in about ten minutes. It has excellent temperature control. The stainless steel cooking grill is the most substantial I've seen. Very high quality rotisserie included. The propane bottle is fully concealed behind a cabinet door and it mounted on a slide out shelf. Side burner is brass. Main burners are stainless and, this was important, can be purchased for $13.50 from various online retailers. The electronic spark is battery powered and works very well. Overall cabinet construction is solid and well ventilated. Everything is either stainless steel or epoxied aluminum or steel. A power strip on the back has a power-in plug and two power-out plugs for the rotisserie and lights that illuminate the grill. I started out shopping for a Weber, but I'm glad I found the Broil King. A comparable Weber without rotisserie was $2000 plus tax at local Lowes. The Broil King was $1148 delivered.

Makes great grilled food. Temperature comes up fast and hot! I love it so far. I made a rot. chicken with it. Obama would have loved it. I feel sure he loves chicken.

Nearly perfect

For years I wanted a barbeque we could use on our small 3rd story deck. The only thing available were the sort of low quality products you should expect to buy a new one of every year.Finally Char-Broil has filled the bill. The materials and construction quality are below those of a large high-end grill but far above comparably sized products. The cast iron cooking surface is of a high quality and the thermostat is a nice bonus.Cons: This is a gas grill made to work for charcoal. No effort is made to conceal or alter the holes for the gas element that is not included. There was no attempt to engineer a solution to grease runoff. Without modification by the owner grease tends to run out the back down the legs and onto whatever it's sitting on.

table top grill

I purchased the Char-Broil "CB collection" Grill. It is heavy-duty. After I did a few changes it is perfect for what I was looking for. Number one to me a good charcoal grill is when you close all the vents the fire should go out and pretty quick. This grill as sold will not do that, first theres two holes where a rotisserie goes, then theres the vent hole in the bottom with no cover or regulating devise on it, so i made covers for the rotisserie holes and a turning cover for the bottom vent.Then theres the slide out ash tray with air leaks on both sides and top so i made a cover for it.When i close my grill with all vents closed the fire will go out. I think another improvement would be a little heavier duty charcoal tray this one moves around and small pieces fall through maybe a tray with holes instead of small wire frame? Maybe a nice slide vent in the bottom like the ones in the top? I looked at a lot of small grills and for the money this ones the best in my opinion.

A little assembly required but sturdy once built.

The assembly was a little more than I expected, thus once I opened it, It sat in the box for two weeks. It probably takes about 30 minutes to put together, but its still a pain. Once built it was a quality grill and brought it to many a tailgates and beach trips. I beat the hell out of hit and it only needed a couple screw tightenings, but it is generally good quality and still continues to serve me well.

Broil King Imperial 590 Gas Grill LP

This is an excellent grill because of the evenness and adjustment of temperatures. The linear valves and double burners really make the heat even and consistent. I've been a Charcoal (weber) grill person for years and bought the Broil King (BK) after I read consumers report and their highest rated large grill made by Huntington, which I later found out is Onward Manufacturing. So then I looked at other models and choose the 590 model which has large grill, rotisserie more usable and standard features, drawers to put the gloves, outside trays for the condiments, hooks and front and sides for the tools. Note that the front I think requires using square/rectangular hooked tools of BK to match the indent/hook area on the grill. Their temperature gauge on front I think starts at 50 deg F, so you know it's working before you turn the grill on, as it shows the current temperature (as long as it's above 50), many others are pegged and you don't know they're working til you turn the grill on and wait and hope to see the needle move. This grill, made in North America (Canada), uses substantial materials (thicker). It weighs in nearly 250 lbs.I bought this through AimToFind, whom I had not heard of before this purchase and they did an excellent job, the price was the lowest, Including shipping and was delivered off the truck, off the pallet and placed in our garage so I could assemble later. A few days later a rep from AimToFind called the house to see if the grill arrived safe and sound. They also sent an email and I responded to the email. While I had somewhat of a hard time to locate this grill on line, there were a few vendors that did stock and offer reasonable pricing. AimToFind is based in PA so shipping to east coast and midwest is pretty easy, fast and not many roads to travel. Some vendors were from CA and that's too far banging around on a truck for all those miles.Note the BK 68492 Grill Cover fits great and it too is substantial, the description is PVC Polyester and I hear that and think of plastic, but this is the type of plastic that they make 'ballistic' back packs out of...I know not exactly, but it is heavy fabric and not 'plastic'. When I was on amazon searching for a cover, I had gotten some hits on a different cover with some bad reviews, I went to the manufacturer and found the model number for this heavy duty cover and then searched amazon and bought it. And it is heavy and hopefully will last for years on the concrete patio seeing afternoon sun everyday.Enjoy
